Re: MRC?

You certainly picked a great track for a first time. Awesome to have you line up for a first race. There is a definite need for first timers, regardless of age or skill level as the skills generally improve the more you ride. Of course, older first timers are more than welcome as long as they finish...

Re: MRC?

Yup, I'm still around. Haven't been out this year as the weather and other things have delayed my getting out. Too frikkin cold for these old bones. Should get out late May if all goes well. This will be my 50th season. Got a new bike last year that needs exercising, doesn't like being left on the s...

Re: MIllsaps vs Alessi vs Metcalfe vs Facciotti

different promoters. nationals have contract arranged by SPI (Stallybrass Promotions Inc.) while the promoter of Calgary Endurocross would be dealing with a totally different video/film company for tv.

Re: Loss of a Great Track Builder and Friend

Many years ago in the mid 90s, I had the pleasure of racing against Chick until he decided to not race and turned to building tracks. He was a tough competitor but he was a genius with a bulldozer. Chick would always be wearing his beach flip-flops as he was most comfortable that way. Like Randy, wh...

R.I.P. Ewald

Ewald Rothmaier passed away this morning, the 12th, after a brief illness. He was the head of the family who promoted SWO motocross events at Paisley RAT track for 24 years. Ewald was a true gentleman at all times who greatly appreciated the riders and tried to give them a quality event always. The ...

Re: CMRC SCHEDULE

This stellar piece of shit is totally bogus, a fabrication to get a schedule posted. It would have been really good if somebody had contacted the track owners to get their agreement to it. Witnessed the reaction of one track owner yesterday at the bike show when he saw the schedule for the first tim...

Re: CMRC SCHEDULE

Well, that blows huge. This is a 'Deja Vu' schedule reflecting a total lack of effort at being innovative hoping to regain disappearing ridership. I am certainly not going to go to RJs. The only reason I rejoined this year was to ride Paisley and maybe some Atlantic region races when I go on vacatio...

Re: No Walton or SDL on the Pro Schedule in 2016

Stally has not done Walton any favors in the past and also proven to be less than cooperative. When Brett says they have something up his and Mark's sleeves it promises to be really good. In reality, the nationals have been changed to include some questionable tracks over the last few years but done...

Re: No Walton or SDL on the Pro Schedule in 2016

This is the result of the series sponsor, Rock Star, wanting the events held closer to centres of population for their advertising to draw supposedly larger attendance. It probably doesn't matter if the facility can handle the expected fan attendance but Barrie is a closer city population than eithe...
