Pick a Movie for the Walton Double Header Movie Night

Postby bigwave » Mon May 19, 2008 2:14 pm

June 14-15 is the Kawasaki Two Wheel Walton Double Header and we need
your help right now.

Part of the reason for the huge turnouts for this event each year is
that riders get to celebrate the beginning of summer with some
special activities. Last year we introduced movie night on Saturday
night and we are going to do it again this year.

If you weren't there you missed out. We put up a huge inflatable
screen and showed Talledaga Nights under the stars - just like a
drive in theatre in the infield - see the photo at
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=6482066515

We have to choose a movie and just about anything is available. It
must be 'family friendly' but otherwise we will go with the most
popular choice . Send your suggestion for a cult classic or something
fresh to chris@motocrosscanada.ca by Wednesday.

WRAPUP : The Mother's Day motocross at Walton May 10-11 featured some
some special treatment for the mothers who ventured out.

While every mum got a special info and discount pack as part of the
Mothers' Day Ontario's Westcoast Welcome www.ontarioswestcoast.ca the
special winners were Sandy McCorquodale (McLellan) who won a one
night, expense paid, "spa-licious" retreat for two in the award
winning Benmiller Inn & Spa www.benmiller.on.ca , Salina Cannella won
a one hour massage and prize package at Solace on Turnberry Spa in
Brussels www.solacespa.ca and Sue Matthews picked up two free tickets
for the world renowned Blyth Festival Theatre www.blythfestival.com

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the members of the Huron
Tourism Association for their participation .

u could show the walton movie I made for 2006 and alot of the little gappers would probably see themselves ripping up Walton but that would just be appreciative now wouldnt it.

Grand Prix

Every other attempt at a racing movie is pure horseshit.
