MRC NOT CMA/FIM Affiliated?
So I just read last week's Frid'Eh update, and see that the new Canadian series won't be affiliated with the CMA/FIM after all? Wasn't that the whole point? I don't get it.

Just heard about this on Pulp show, would be great to know more detail
Re: MRC NOT CMA/FIM Affiliated?
I'm just waiting for any BC amateur regional information to become available.
Not surprised that the focus is on the pro's and the east coast, but it would be nice to get some information about the upcoming season.
The whole CMA/FIM sanctioning body...well jetworks needed some legitimate sanctioning body to get the OEMs to buy in and beat out the competing series. Not sure of their reasoning on why they decided to buyout CMRC instead of just letting it die. It looked to me like they had it in their sights but accepted surrender instead of pulling the trigger. I imagine it was more financially beneficial to resurrect CMRC then to go with CMA/FIM....because thats how business makes decisions...but I know nothing about the involved financials.
I'm sure a lot of people have opinions on the new series, would be nice to hear some of them.
I just can't wait to go racing....even if I can't buy a race license yet.
