Gopher Dunes

Postby woodzi » Thu Nov 05, 2009 2:06 pm

My 8 year old has taken a sudden interest in riding after his XR50 collected cobwebs for the last 3 years. He just took over his cousin's CRF70 and we have been riding at my parents farm for the past couple of months. It is clay soil, so it is pretty slick right now - so, I thought we might try the kids track at Gopher Dunes.

Is the kids track suitable for a beginner, or is it better to wait until he has a bit more experience?

tracks a little bigger to now after the old bikes were on there a couple weeks ago. He'd be fine on there. Just got back from there and it's looking good, think they are open fri-sun now, was a good day to ride Gopher today, lots of riders there.

We went on Sunday and had a great time. We had to drag the young one off the track at the end of the day. He is already asking when we can go back.
