Private track prep

Postby bspaur108 » Tue Oct 08, 2019 8:33 pm

Bought a new house with 3 acres last October. Dont have a 4 wheeler or tractor. All I have is my 4x4 truck and a zero turn lawn mower. Was wondering if anyone else has input on what would be best cost effective to prep track. Been looking at cultivators for lawn mowers and most dont seem to have enough to bust up ruts after a day of riding, maybe they do? Would it be easier to water first to soften dirt? I do almost have my water system complete, have 3 275 gal bins collecting rain water to use for the track on dusty days. Just need to purchase trash pump and hose. Was wondering what others do. If any use their trucks to help prep? Any input is greatly appreciated. TIA
