MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED FOR CPT RACING EXPERIENCE
Live radio broadcasts, VIP opportunities, outdoor advertising lead up to motorsports-themed event

London, ON (November 17, 2008): CPT Entertainment Inc. is set to launch a multi-level marketing campaign for its upcoming motorsports-themed event, the CPT Racing Experience presented by CASE ‘N DRUM OIL LP and Kendall Motor Oil (January 24 & 25, 2009 at the Western Fair Agriplex). From wide-spread outdoor advertising to on-location live broadcasts, the campaign will feature many unique partnerships that will enhance the value and exposure to all involved in the event.

“We said right from the start that we wanted to put our resources toward providing more awareness and promotion of motorsports in this part of the country, and that’s exactly what we’re doing,” said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment. “We’ve provided the venue and a unique event for people in the racing industry. Next, the general public will see and hear more than ever before about motorsports in this area over the winter months. We hope those efforts will reflect positively on those involved in motorsports in this area.”

Just after Christmas, outdoor billboards will be appearing around London and St. Thomas in strategically chosen high-traffic locations. The boards are tentatively planned to have an image of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car, which is scheduled to appear at the event, along with the show logo and web address. The billboards, put up through Pattison outdoor advertising, will be on display for a full month leading into the event.

“The impressions from those boards alone will be in the hundreds of thousands,” said Bulmer.

Following closely on the heels of the outdoor ads going up, a variety of radio-related campaigns will begin, as follows:

Country Favourites BX 93 (92.7 FM in London) and News Talk 1290 CJBK will be on the air for weeks prior to the show as the media presenting sponsors of the display of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon’s cars. Through the course of the campaign, listeners will have the opportunity to win tickets to the event and will find information on the station’s websites and email newsletters. BX 93 listeners will even get the chance to take part in a special “VIP Preview” of the show. Details on the VIP portion will be announced separately.

Bulmer, who is also the weeknight on-air host on BX 93, appreciates having additional stations involved. “It’s great to see the cross-section of formats involved in the event,” he said. “To see these stations really digging in and getting involved in the event like this shows us we have a format that is fun and effective.”

London’s Best Rock FM 96 (95.9 FM in London) is the media presenting sponsor of the Demar Aggregates Go Kart Track for Jesse’s Journey. Through their involvement, FM 96 will be promoting the charity go kart track, giving away tickets to listeners and including the event in their online calendar and email blasts. FM 96 will also be broadcast live on location for both days of the event (12 pm – 6 pm on the Saturday and 11 am – 5 pm on the Sunday).

103.9 FM “The Hawk” is once again the media presenting sponsor of the very popular “Tire Change Challenge,” which allows race fans to feel what it’s actually like to change tires as a pit crew would on a stock car. “The Hawk” will be offering tickets to listeners prior to the event and will include the event in its online calendar. 103.9 FM will also do a live broadcast on set-up day at the event (Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm) and live remote cut-ins on the Saturday.

CPT Entertainment has also activated several online marketing initiatives which have netted positive results already. Dozens of other promotional partnerships with exhibitors, sponsors, race tracks and industry suppliers are also being activated with the circulation of event posters, flyers and ticket incentives.
